1920 Aveling & Porter finds a new home

1920 Aveling & Porter KND 6-ton tractor moves on to a new home in Lincolnshire, where further renovation work is continuing.
They were made an offer they simply couldn’t refuse! Damon Holah from Southborough, Kent, and his brother have sold their ex-Peter Williams and Stuart Grey 1920 Aveling & Porter KND 6-ton tractor No. 9225 CJ4160 Clementine, to a new owner living in Lincolnshire. We understand that the engine’s new keeper has wasted no time in continuing with important renovation work, having fitted the tubes and carried out a number of other small repairs that have allowed him to already have the engine in steam. We’re certainly looking forward to seeing Clementine out and about during 2024.
