Biddenden Tractorfest to celebrate FFA’s 20th anniversary

Posted by Chris Graham on 16th July 2024

We spotlight the celebrations planned for the Ford & Fordson Association’s 20th anniversary celebrations at Biddenden Tractorfest in August.

Biddenden Tractorfest

Biddenden Tractorfest is always hugely popular with Ford and Fordson fans. This year it will be especially so!

As the Ford & Fordson Association (FFA) was started in Kent 20 years ago this year by Peter Love, so it seems appropriate to celebrate the formation of this enthusiastic and active organisation in that same county, which is exactly what’s going to happen.

The FFA’s Kent rep, Rodney Gibson, wishes to invite all members and friends to the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Ford & Fordson Association. This will take place at the Biddenden Tractorfest on August 17th-18th at Holden Farm, Sissinghurst Road, Biddenden, Kent TN27 8EZ, where some 15,000 visitors attended the show in 2023.

Biddenden Tractorfest is by far the largest gathering of preserved tractors in the south-east these days, and will see over 300 machines attend, says the organiser. There is excellent parking and camping facilities, and Saturday evening entertainment is provided.

Normally the FFA has more than 60 Ford and Fordson tractors on display at this event but, due to the special celebration this year, it’s hoped that double this number will be present. Attractions will include a special ring display, where the club will also be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the Ford 1000 Series tractor range.

For entry forms are available by sending an email to: info@tractorfest.co.uk and for more information about the FFA’s planned activities at Tractorfest, give Rodney Gibson a call on: 07850 788347.
