We spotlight a couple of exciting tractor, machinery and implement auctions taking place this month, that are not to be missed!

Clarke & Simpson’s May Collective
May 19th-24th, 2023

Clarke & Simpson Auctions is delighted to announce its exciting May Collective Sale, which will be the 20^th that the specialist auctioneer has held at its Campsea Ashe Auction Centre, in Suffolk.

More than 2,500 lots will be going under the hammer, bidding will open on May 17^th and close on May 24^th, and there will be viewing on May 19^th, 20^th and 22^nd. 

A fantastic selection of tractors and machinery is being offered, especially for classic Massey Ferguson enthusiasts, with just a few of the MF highlights including a superb 1200, a 625 combine (a one-owner machine), an MF 550 (also one-owner), an MF 595, four classic Massey trailers, two MF 30 drills, an MF 19 muck spreader and an MF 50 backhoe.

Other vintage and classic lots to be sold include a 2WD Ford 7610 (one owner), a Fiat 120C crawler, a Fowler VF crawler, several Allis Chalmers Model Bs, a Nuffield Universal 4 plus numerous MF 35s, Grey Fergies, Farmalls and David Browns etc. In addition, the catalogue also lists Claas Standard Matador and Volvo S1000A combines.

The modern tractors being sold include a Case 4240 (one owner), Claas Arion 510 and 650 (one owner), various John Deere models, plus tractors from Duetz, MF, New Holland and McCormick as well as a number of teleporters. Finally, the sale also includes a wide range of vintage, classic and modern implements, trailers, vehicles, spares, literature and models.

Peter Dutton Vintage Collection

Shropshire-based auctioneers Malcolm Harrison Auction Ltd has announced that the Peter Dutton Vintage Collection Retirement and Reduction Auction will be taking place on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, starting at 9am. 

The event will be taking place at Moss Farm, Occupation Lane, Arley Road, Antrobus, nr Knutsford, Cheshire WA4 4RR, and viewing will be on Thursday May 25th and Friday May 26th, between 9am and 4pm on both days. 

Among the many lots being sold, you’ll be able to bid on more than 40 vintage and classic tractors, including 20 David Brown Cropmasters, 10 Ford and Fordson models, seven tracked tractors (including David Brown 50D / 30D / TVO and a 30D with blade), a Field Marshall and a Fordson E27N Half Track.

Elsewhere in the extensive listing you’ll find a pair of CAT dozers (D5 / D6), plus a number of telehandlers, excavators, trailers, buckets, utility vehicles, various machinery and assorted collectables.

Free online bidding is available but all overseas buyers not known to the auctioneer must lodge a refundable deposit of 10% of the expected spend (£1,000 minimum) on registration, using cash or a credit/debit card.
