It’s just been announced by the HCVS that the traditional Trans Pennine Road Run is back on again! The event took place in 2022, but was off last year at relatively short notice due to the start venue not being available.

However it has been reported that the 2024 event would not be taking place, but that’s not the case at all, as its going to take place on 16 June. It will start at the Birch Services on the M62 and finish at Tockwell Airfield near Wetherby, a run of some 55 miles. The event is limited to 150 lorries and the closing date is 30 April, so get in there fast. Do go onto the HCVS website and download a form right now.
