Can anyone help with information about this twin-cylinder Brooke ‘Dominion’ marine engine from the Stuart Ashman Collection?

I have a selection of black and white photographs of a twin-cylinder Brooke ‘Dominion’ marine engine from the Stuart Ashman Collection and would like to ask if any reader(s) can provide information on this model of engine, as manufactured by JW Brooke Co Ltd which was based at the Adrian Works, Lowestoft, in Suffolk.

Unfortunately, the photographs are not labelled, but it is believed that they were taken in the early-to-mid-1970s. The only clue I can offer comes from the brass maker’s plate partially hidden behind the carburettor; it is stamped with what might be the serial number ‘13458’.

A close-up view of the carburettor; you can just see the partially hidden maker’s plate behind it. (Pic: Stuart Ashman Collection)
